Received the same dvd in the mail that I just sent back. No I dont anymore to say except that you are wasting my time when I should be able to speak with someone over the phone. After all your dvd customers are older and feel more comfortable speaking on the phone. I promise to be polite .

Disk Play Back

YouBYour DVDs are worn out as too many people have watched them and they won't play. 4 have come in this condition. So you guys need new disks. I sent the Doctor Who DVDs back. Sorry to give you the bad news but you should swap your old disks out. That would fix it. Apart from that no problem.

Complaint

Every DVD we have received from this company has skipped and wont play threw. One or two dvds I would understand; but every single one; thats a pattern and bad for business. I am contacting DVD.com to get a refund and discontinue service.

Cancellation

It was suppose to be cancelled last month but i got charged 21.99 last night and did not authorize it on my card. I really need the money back on my card i cancelled it cause i could not afford it. Ive sent all DVDs back 2 weeks ago

Unfinished no end to the series

Unfinished or no end to a 3series of Intersection a Turkish movie very disappointing.it was good till no end.

Glad I'm not a customer

I can't believe the number of disatisfied customers who have been paying them anyway. Look at the reviews. You people are being charged but not getting any response from them or service. Lock your cards to stop them instead of complaining while still paying them. I don't get it. The first time they tried to screw me..bye bye. What's wrong with you people?

Delayed dvd deliveries-reduced DVD inventories locally

I'm down to one DVD a week. Used to return mail a DVD on Monday, receive a new one on Wednesday, return it on Thursday and received a new one for the weekend. The excuse is the DVD was not found at the local distribution center and is being shipped from a center further away. Used to be there were plenty at the local center to maintain quick deliveries. Are there employees at Netflix that are trying to kill the rentals business by creating dissatisfied customers?

Miserable service

It has been obvious for a while that I am not getting the DVDs I want, so I just checked again today. It turns out that the first 16 DVDs in my queue have been there for at least 3-4 months, some as long as 5 or 7 months. Obviously, that's what Netflix considers to be short wait. Meanwhile, I have been paying $35/month -- enough to PURCHASE most of these movies. Unfortunately, it appears Netflix really doesn't care

User's recommendation: Keep your money. Buy the DVD you want or watch it on another streaming service.

This situation with Netflix DVDs has been going on for a few months now. I would assume Netflix just isn't purchasing as many DVDs, thus limiting those available to be sent to customers.

They want you to do the streaming of movies as streaming costs are negligible compared to the cost of buying and sending out physical DVDs. Most movies on DVD come to Netflix streaming eventually, with the exception of many foreign films, etc. so using the DVD service may not be cost-advantageous to you.

Just wait for it to hit Netflix---or Amazon Prime, altho Amazon charges for alot of their movies, while Netflix does not. All that being said, I agree DVD Netflix now has miserable service.

Detereriating Customer Service

I’ve been a member of Netflix for several years, 2 dvds out at a time. My most recent mail arrival only had 1 dvd but going to my account, the other dvd was scheduled to arrive the next day (a Saturday). Well, it did not arrive and I called the customer support number. I’ve been a member for a minimum of 6 years. I’m sure I’ve called on a weekend, in the past, when I’ve had a previous issue. I called the Customer Support number and I get a recording that says dvd.com has only business hours Monday through Friday. Nobody answer the listed CS support number on the weekend. How ridiculous is that? Getting another CS number from YouTube, I did get in touch with a live person and explained what my issue was. Her solution? Call the CS number that just told me that there is no CS on weekends. I told her that she didn’t give me any new information and that I already tried that number. She simply repeated the same “solution”. I said it’s ridiculous that a company such as Netflix doesn’t have dvd support on the weekend.

You obviously have internet, bc you posted this complaint online. Why are you still getting physical DVDs?

Just sign up for online Netflix. You can watch as much crap as you have time for that way! Screw the outdated system you're using: Getting 2 physical DVDs/week. Online Netflix works through DVD players too; Not just through a computer.

Try it and simplify your life already. :)

Every week I put my movies at the top of my queue and I never get the new one that out why do you have a upcoming and what comes out u can't get it the stay short forever then the go to middle of the queue and and sent that I don't want right Now this been going on for along time I have been with Netflix but I am having to go someone I imagine Redbox is the only one u cam get new movies now I have attached the ones I had at the top and the nest 4 has finally not short wait But see what the sent to me of course I called I have been waiting for this movies when the came out with u and finally not on short wait but guess what you see what I got and now they wre on short wait I am sorry I don't know what u did but you are not the same but I'm sure I not the only sick of spending money and not get what I have in my top queue

Netflix appears to be cutting back on the number of physical DVDs it is purchasing for their rentals---they would like everyone to just go to streaming as it is far cheaper for them. There is no apparent rhyme nor reason to the way they send out the DVDs, as you have noticed.

Other than Redbox, Netflix has little competition for physical DVD rentals and so does as they please. No one is forcing you to rent from them.

When Netflix first started out they were very good and reliable. No longer.
